I LOVE snacks! No denying that..
My family and friends like to make fun of me because I always bring snacks with me if I leave the house for more than a couple of hours. Their are two factors in it for me – I don’t like to be too hungry and secondly if I am hungry (and hangry!) I don’t want to feel the urge to go to the nearest shop or cafe and buy something unhealthy. So having something with me is a way to stay healthier and less hangry 🙂
I tend to eat quite a light lunch at 12pm and not have my dinner until 7 or 8pm, so I will normally have a snack in afternoon, especially if I am going to the gym before dinner.
One of the healthiest snacks around are nuts and fruit.. and I do love a handful of almonds or a banana.. but mixing things up every now and again makes the gut healthier and the mind happier, so here I will share my favourite homemade snacks.
